Ah yes, it’s that time of year. The time that sends me searching endlessly through my closet and coming up with nothing to wear. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve already used up all of my outfit creativity this season or if I’m just growing sick of my winter clothes but lately, I’ve been in a bit of a wardrobe slump. However, I still want to keep my office style updated.

THE WEAR EVERYWHERE SKIRT

Before I say how much I love this skirt, l will just admit that pencil skirts used to be the bane of my existence. Constantly tugging and readjusting them as I walked, I used to think of them only as an office attire staple, kind of like a button-down top. Professional, stuffy, and something to wear to an interview, I definitely didn't ever think of them as being 'cool'.

That said, after seeing this style season after season, I've decided to embrace it and find new, dare I say 'exciting' new ways to wear it. I can wear it with a blazer to the office then swap out the top for a comfy tee to meet friends for dinner. I can pretty much wear it EVERYWHERE. And while I never thought I'd say it, I totally have a newfound obsession with the pencil skirt.
