DATE NIGHT STYLE (MINIMAL EFFORT REQUIRED)

Arts District, Los Angeles

Whether you're heading out with your latest match on Bumble or grabbing dinner with your longtime sweetheart, it's always fun to dress it up a bit on date night (especially this time of year). And if you're like me, you've probably spent one too many nights tearing through your wardrobe to find the perfect look. You know, that "I didn't try too hard but I'm here to impress" kind of ensemble? That's what we're all looking for—the little effort, big wow outfit.

So what are some of my easy date-night looks? Honestly, I look to Reformation for all my inspo lately. From jumpsuits to sweet little dresses and tops, they have styles that are classic yet undeniably sexy. This ruffly velvet top works really well with ripped jeans and if you're going on a day-to-night event, toss on a dress like this with a cropped denim jacket and booties. Need an office-to-drinks ensemble? This jumpsuit I wore in a previous post is just perfect.

While I can't guarantee that your date is going to be great, I can tell you that these looks will make you feel 100% every time. Amen for Reformation!

A WINTER COLOR BOOST

West Hollywood, CA

Winter weather got you dressing in gloomy grey and brown colors? I get it. But the easiest way to brighten up your current wardrobe is to add a pop of pink or yes, even white. From blush jackets to cream-colored boots, lighter colors (typically reserved for summer) will give your closet a refreshing boost this season. This cozy pompom sweater from Chicwish is the perfect place to start. Not only does it keep you warmer than a fireplace, but it adds a bit of new visual appeal to your basic cold weather lineup.

ALL ABOUT THE OUTLETS

West Hollywood, CA

IMG_3745.jpg

Who invented outlet stores? Whoever it was is a genius. What an incredible invention. I remember the first time that I went to the outlets near my childhood house in Kittery Maine and thought I had found a secret stash of gold! Bags, shoes, leggings--you name it they have it and for half the price. That’s why I was thrilled to hear that Ann Taylor had a factory store. Always a fan of their classic everyday pieces, I couldn’t wait to share some of my current favorites with you guys.

From these mules to their current jacket (and dress!) selection, they have everything you need for fall. I love this bold red top because it blends a classic silhouette with a vivid new orangey/red hue. If you haven’t already, head over to their site, I promise you won’t be dissapointed.
