Mixing prints-- it's not an easy trend! In fact I'll put it right up there with rocking denim on denim. It's certainly tough, but when done right, it really makes a statement. The key is to mix match and play until you find a combo that works for you. Stripes, dots, florals, and bold geo prints are all fair game! I personally love black and white stripes and polka dotted pieces because they mix well with colorful pieces.

I wore this outfit earlier in the week without checking the forecast. And though it's hard to tell from these photos, it was actually cloudy, dreary and drizzly! My sunny combo was a nice contrast to the day.
