This season, teddy bear jackets are not only the most comfortable outerwear option but also quite possibly the trendiest. From sherpa jackets to faux fur coats and all the fuzzy styles in between, they're all the rage right now (and I am definitely not complaining).  Not only do they take the edge off of colder nights, but they add a boost of texture to your most basic pieces. 

Because I love combining textures, I paired it with a chiffon floral midi dress from Ann Taylor Factory. It’s the kind of dress dress is so airy and effortless to style, you’ll find a reason to wear it everywhere! I got it a few weeks ago and have already worn it to work, Thanksgiving, and out to dinner with friends.

A LITTLE BIT OF FALL

Raise your hands if you're not fall-obsessed? Yeah, same here. Not sure it's the popular vote but I am the type that could go for sweltering summer nights and long sunny days all year round. It's part of the reason why I love living in Los Angeles. However, I think this year I may have pushed it off a bit too long. 

I arrived in New England to visit my family a few days ago and realized that I may have actually missed fall altogether! It's snowing and freezing—more like parka weather than sweater weather. But I did find a little bit of foliage left out here and it's pretty gorgeous. 

Another piece of good news? My new lace-up Eastland boots are great for fall AND winter so I’ve still got plenty of places to wear them. I adore Eastland because they are a company based out of Maine and the quality is amazing so they last forever!

It's that time of year again! Time to get onboard with the glitter trend. And while I am not usually all that drawn to glitzy pieces, I always make an exception from now until the mid-January. And because nothing elevates an outfit quite like a set of sparkly shoes, this pair from SAS Shoes was an easy 'yes' from me. Rose gold shimmer and a classic silhouette make them great to wear with skirts, dresses, or your go-to pair of skinnies. Here, I have paired them with a cozy quilted midi skirt and sweater from Chicwish for a look that's full-on femme.
