I swung back to New England for the holiday weekend and the air is crisp, fresh and a bit chilly. Everyone is embracing the sunny weather though. I actually saw a guy driving around in a convertible, which made me laugh. In LA this weather would be considered frigid and back when I was living here I remember doing the same thing. 50 degrees in April?? That's what I used to call shorts weather!

Because I don't have the stamina I once had in high school, it's important to incorporate transitional spring pieces into your outfit. I'm talking short-sleeve sweaters, lighter trench coats and yes a good pom pom cardigan (like this one from Goodnight Macaroon).
