AT-HOME WORKOUT IDEAS

Mar Vista, CA

It's official: life as we know it is at home for the foreseeable future. It’s thrown off all of our lives in more ways than we can count. And of the many things that have changed for me, my workouts are definitely high on the list. I was starting to really get into a solid workout routine, doing spin classes and pilates before work every morning.

That being said, I (like everyone else in the world) need to figure out something new that doesn't involve a class or a gym. And while it can prove to be particularly challenging if you live in a small city apartment (like me) I am here to tell you that you have options. Fortunately for us, a number of incredible fitness brands are offering free trials to stream their platforms or have free videos available for you to access at home. I have linked my top five favorites below!

I have made it a goal to move and do some sort of fitness class at least once a day. And with a wide variety of class times and options (some are just 10 mins!), it's really manageable.

Another thing that helps motivate me to workout? Giving my activewear a refresh. Fabletics has always been a favorite of mine. Not only do they have the prettiest colors, most unique and flattering fits, but they are also incredibly affordable. I've linked this particular set below.

WELCOME Spring (Maxi Skirts)

Culver City, CA

IMG_8232.jpg

Ready for the grand calf-and-foot reveal? Spring is around the corner and that means it’s time to ease back into wearing skirts! And while most of the country is still nestled in coats and jackets, it’s time to set your shopping sights on sunnier days. That’s because all the best spring pieces are up for grabs now.

So, which skirts are shaping up to be this season's heroes? Bold prints and splashy colored styles are at the top of my list. In fact, this one from Anthropologie (they have SO many cute maxi skirts right now) is easily one of my favorites. I love that it lets me make a statement even when you pair it with the most simple tee-shirt!

Comfy cozy kind of shoes

Culver City, CA

IMG_7556.jpg

It’s not the first time I’ve sung Vionic’s praises and it likely won’t be my last. Not only are their Savannah flats great the office, but they’re also really solid travel/long walk shoes. I styled them here with a fitted sweatshirt, tweed jacket, and skinnies for a comfy everyday look.

And if your feet are in need of a much-needed rest or you’re in an office (like mine) that’s more sneaker than stiletto-friendly, you’ll love these flats. With a touch of snakeskin and a cozy fit, these shoes make it easier than ever to look chic without sacrificing comfort.

Adios, painful heels!
