A little bit boho

Every once and a while I like to try on the boho trend. Known for rich colors, rustic tones, and in general, fall feelings, it's the style that's everywhere this season. Never big on tassels or fringe, I tend to gravitate towards the flowy, free-spirited silhouettes. And this pretty bell-sleeved frock from Others Follow is just my style.

Great for a warmer fall afternoon or brunch with the girls, I wore it the other day with a pair of ankle booties for a look that's oh so boho.

Now the only thing I need is a big floppy hat!

Fall Lip Flavors

It's a new season, which means it's time to switch up your style. And updating your wardrobe is the easy part. Boots, scarves, denim, done. Ok maybe it's not that simple, but thanks to all the bloggers, magazines and outlet malls out there, it's pretty easy to keep up with the latest fashion trends. But if you're anything like me, you forget that it's also a great time to refresh your makeup collection.

A new color palette can give you an entirely new look. So today, I'm sharing some of my favorite go-to fall lip colors. From neutral to dark berry, each one offers a totally different feel. So which one will you choose?

GO BOLD

Color that leaves an impression! This super-matte bright berry shade is truly next-level. Fun and ultra-flirty, it sticks to your lips and dries into a velvety texture that you'll fall in love with. Yes, please!

NEUTRAL NOTES

Audacious Lipstick- NARS "Raquel"

Peach with traces of pink, this silky color makes your lips appear plump and full (which I always welcome). A great alternative to nude, I LOVE this shade for dressy and casual looks.

DARKER TONES

Lips: Maybelline Loaded Bold Lipstick "Blackest Berry"

This easy-on lipstick is darkly romantic and gives a nod to the ever popular 90's trend. I was hesitant to buy it because it was SO dark and different for me. But I really loved the result. Give this one an honest try.

Friday Feelings

Cheers to FRIDAY! It marks the start of weekend and for me, the beginning of a little three day getaway. I'm road-tripping with some friends over to a ranch in Arizona --the land of BBQ's, beer tastings, long hikes and horseback rides. I can't wait! It's a place that I've been wanting to visit for a while, so I'm psyched to finally be able to check it off my list.

This casual outfit (that I've been living in lately) will definitely be making its way into my suitcase. The striped cold-shoulder top from ROMWE is perfect for fall. Flowy yet flattering, it pairs well with ripped skinnies, like I wore here, but I also really love it tucked into a pencil skirt or shorts. Oh and I'm a big fan of this new crossbody from the WHOWHATWEAR collection at Target! A neutral bag is always in season and this one is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
