Happy Labor Day Weekend everyone!

While I don’t necessarily love the idea that Labor Day signifies the end of summer, I can't deny that the long weekend festivities that coincide with this holiday are pretty great. And this year, I've decided to follow the LA trend and head out of the city for a mini vacay of sorts. Back on the east coast with family and friends, we're hitting the refresh button with an agenda that consists of: relaxing & overeating. So far, it's been pretty wonderful.

I am such a big fan of this floral off-the-shoulder dress from Forever 21 . These photos were snapped on the way to my pal's BBQ dinner the other night but really, it's been my go-to for all events lately. The colors are rich and the flowy design is ultra-flattering on all body types. It's great for a brunch date or daytime gathering but also, if you throw on a pair of wedges (and a jean jacket) like I did here-- it works well for casual dinner too.

Free-spirited and ultra-flirty, this is the maxi dress I’ve been living in lately. It’s a great transitional piece and the refreshing floral print will brighten even your busiest Tuesday. But what I REALLY love about it are the colors. Somehow SheIn has managed to design a dress that incorporates an entire rainbow of pretty pastel shades—without being too overwhelming. It’s perfection.

Pair with sandals for an afternoon event or tall wedges for night on the town, either way it’s sure to stand out. No matter the occasion-- drinks, casual Fridays, birthday parties, beach dates--I’ve found an excuse to wear this long breezy number.
