COMFY & CHIC

Venice, CA

IMG_0024.jpg

As much as I love dressing up for a night on the town or a dinner with friends, sometimes comfort is all I really want (especially after a long day of travel). I've learned that wearing a laid-back look doesn't mean you have to compromise on your personal style. In fact, casual doesn't actually have to be all that casual.

Alas, this Morning Lavender jumpsuit proves that cozy and chic can be done! Paired with nude sandals, it's a throw-on-and-go type of outfit that works for day or night. Paired here with simple jewelry from my new Aurate curated jewelry box and a hair scarf, it's perfect the perfect look for an afternoon date.

VACATION VIBES

DTLA

IMG_8362.jpg

I don’t have any upcoming island escapes planned but this tiered dress has me feeling inspired to book one! With a flirty hemline and a pretty floral print, it’s the perfect dress to toss in your suitcase and wear to the pool AND the dinner party afterwards. I threw it on for drinks downtown a few weeks ago, when we had a bit of a heatwave here in LA, but I plan on wearing it on my TBD tropical trip (we’ll see if that happens!) as well. I paired it with some comfy heeled yellow sandals, a woven basket handbag and the cutest (most affordable) hair clip I own! And, vacation or not, I have a feeling you’ll be seeing a lot more of this number.

LIVING IN LINEN

Downtown Los Angeles, CA

It probably isn't news to you at this point, but spring is finally in full swing. That means it's officially time to switch up your style. From florals to flared culottes and more, there are lots of trends to love right now. And on the list of spring things you'll regret not buying are earthy and neutral linen pieces. Right now, the more beige you can wear, the better. Whether it be a jumpsuit or high-rise trousers, I am lightening up my work and after-hours look with lighter shades and linen fabric. A fun alternative to black trousers for the office, I love how timeless these pants look.
