Winter Dinner Style

DTLA

Just because it's freezing outside doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your style. In fact, there are so many cute sweater dresses out there right now, it makes picking out January dinner outfits a bit less daunting. This flattering one from Reformation will keep you looking fashion-forward (and warm) all night long! I paired it with some classic tights and booties for a look that's perfect for your next night out.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

New Hampshire

IMG_9168.jpg

Merry Christmas Eve! I made it back to the East Coast just in time for the holiday and some not-so-snowy weather. Everyone here seems to be excited about it, but I have to say, I really enjoy my yearly snow fix. And who doesn’t love a white Christmas?

Here’s to hoping things take a turn for the cold! Until then, I’ll be dressed accordingly. Tonight I’m wearing this fuzzy cropped sweater, Rockport booties, and a metallic maxi skirt. I’m also wearing some of my new wintery accessories from Ann Taylor Factory and my new go-to winter jacket. I’ve been looking for a warm tan jacket since last season and this one is truly the best (and so affordable).

Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and happy holiday break. I will be spending time relaxing, watching movies and eating (way too much) with the ones I love most.

A 20's Inspired Holiday

Los Angeles, CA

IMG_7902.jpg

Nearly a century later, and I'm still inspired by the gorgeous styles of the 20's. Often pulling outfit ideas from the ladies of this era, I thought it would be fun to do 20's-esque holiday look this year. This pale pink slip dress was a perfect place to start. It boasts that classic flapper look with a less figure-defining shape and beautiful beading all over.

And just like it was back in the day, you can really make the dress your own. You can pile on the extras or keep it minimal and chic. I chose to go with the later. And also, I can't help but think about how crazy it is that we are a year away from 2020! Ah where does the time go?
