We’re right in the middle of boot season, and if you still haven’t found your favorites, nows the time to get some. They’ll be clutch over the next few months. So which pairs are worth buying? It really depends on your wardrobe but I say get some everyday booties and a chic knee-high style. Like last fall, the taller the boot, the better. Knee-high styles like the ones I have on here are great for stepping up a casual look. Wear them with a comfy sweater dress or go-to skinnies and suddenly you’re ready for a night out. I’ve paired them with a mini dress and wrap jacket for a look that works for day or night.

While most of the country is cooling down, temps are still pretty high over here on the west side. In fact, I went to a wedding in Solvang, CA last weekend and temps were in the high eighties! This adorable off the shoulder dress from Poppy Lovers Fashion (a boutique in the ASOS Marketplace) is great for spring, summer and yes, even California fall nights. So easy to throw on, I’ve dressed it up here for after office drinks with a pair of red heels.

LET’S WALK

Since my office is on the beach and the lifestyle over on the west side of town is more active, I find myself walking more than ever! And while I live in Los Angeles where daily step standards are pretttty low, I have also been doing quite a bit of traveling and exploring so let's just say I am a walking pro these days. That being said, I have traded in my office heels for sneakers and swapped my travel booties for cute flats.

The best part about all of this? Sneaker trends are at an all-time high. Thus rocking comfy kicks with a dress or skirt is totally acceptable. In fact, it's the look that fashion girls all over the world are sporting these days.

My latest obsession? These metallic Rockport Let's Walk Sneakers. They put a spin on traditional style by mixing shimmer and darker tones.
