Jump Right In

Have you figured out what you're wearing for Valentine's Day yet? I'm always a supporter of the LBD or a cute little dress, but this year, the jumpsuit gets my vote. Not only is it totally versatile, but it also requires very little thought when it comes to accessorizing.  Just toss on a few standout accessories and you're ready for drinks with the girls, a fancy dinner with your man, or wherever the night takes you.

I adore this classic burgundy jumpsuit because it's easy to dress up with statement earrings and mules (like I did here) or down with sneakers and a cropped jacket, incase you're heading to a movie.

Sometimes it's nice to switch things up. I used to despise my AM routine but lately, I have been waking up early to workout before hitting the office. I've been going between running (jogging) outside for 30 min, doing Amanda Kloots' dance cardio videos (HOLY AMAZING) and a whole slew of other at-home workouts thanks to the POPSUGAR FITNESS website.  I've only been doing it for a few weeks but it's already changed my morning mood and (hopefully soon) my butt.  Do you guys have any other fitness recs? For the first time in forever I am really excited about wearing yoga pants. Let's hope it lasts!

That being said, today's look is casual and perfect for a weekend brunch with friends. The sweater is incredibly affordable and was actually meant to be worn with the knot facing the front. However, I really loved it in the back much better.  What do you think? Am I going overboard with my changes? Or does this one work?

DECISIONS, DECISIONS

Hollywood, CA

Date-night in your future? Dressing for the occasion is already pretty complicated. If it's early on in the relationship you don't want to look like you're trying to hard and if it's been a while, you don't want to look like you're not trying hard enough. Do you keep it casual in jeans or pull out a dress? Go for a bold eye or keep your makeup fresh and natural? Should you attempt to wear those new knee-high boots or be comfy in no-fail flats? Woah! The list of choices is really endless. And trust me, I'm the queen of trying on ALL the options before I finally make a decision. You should see my closet after I get ready to meet my sister for lunch.

That's why today, I've put together today's wintery date-night look. It's meant inspire you the next time your tossing a pair of heels across your room in a panic. Pink is the color of the season so you really can't go wrong with anything in that color palette, and this pretty dress was made to throw-on-and-go. Warm and comfy, it's one-size-fits-all, and is essentially a chic update on your favorite sweater dress. With faux fur sleeve details that make it oh so special special, it's easily my new favorite winter frock.

I paired it with lavender slingback bow pumps, swingy statement earrings and a matching pink clutch to go for a look that's full-on femme.
