GINGHAM GIRL

Los Angeles, CA

Still in denial that summer is nearing the finish line? Me too!

And before the sun sets on my favorite time of year, I am wearing (and re-wearing) all the best styles of the season.

Gingham has just gotten so GOOD this year. Am I right?  Designers continue to find ways to make this picnic-y print feel updated and new.  With a sassy off-the-shoulder design, this top puts a trendy twist on the classic print. I saw it while shopping at H&M a few weeks ago and had to grab it. Great for daytime dates or even a trip to the beach, this flirty outfit is a summer standout.

CHEAP FRILLS

Beverly Hills, CA

If you love frilly, feminine designs, this pretty pink and black look is for you! It's a baby doll dress, paired with a Kate Spade satchel and classic sandal-heels. My favorite part? The dress is under $30 right now. I wore it to a couples dinner last week and all the ladies kept asking me where I got it. When I told them what it cost they were all shocked. If you've followed me for a while, you've probably discovered that I love to find inexpensive tops, dresses and bottoms and disguise them as a high-end finds. It's a bit of hobby. And this look is just another example. May there be many more to come!

Embroidered Ease

Beverly Hills, CA

This season, everyone (including me) is falling for embroidery. From floral patterns to boho designs, right now, it's all about the details. And from the bright threading, to the intricate stitching, it's the trend that can take your plain tee from basic to statement-worthy. My ruffle blouse today is only $12 and looks good with just about everything. I like it paired best though, with ripped jeans or edgier booties.
