BLACK & WHITE

While I typically describe myself as a “dress girl,” jeans have become much more of a staple in my wardrobe. Between my air-conditioned office and my all-over-the place lifestyle, it’s just often the easiest option. Great for date nights, parties, and when done right, even an interview! The key is finding a pair that looks and feels amazing. But once you have it, the options are endless! You’ve seen me style a few pairs of AG jeans on the blog and today I am going for a classic look with these black Farrah skinnies.  They are high-risesd—halleluiah! And they never seem to lose their shape. Day after day, they look just as good as they did when I first pulled them out of the box. The other reason why I love them? They hug your hips and don’t ever feel uncomfortable or too tight. It’s kind of the best of both worlds because they’re not too tight and not too loose.  Oh and AG is having their Semi-Annual Sale (but today is the LAST day) so you can grab these for much less if you move quick!

Sometimes less really is more.

For a refreshing summer look, lean towards the lighter end of the color spectrum. Today, I’ve decided to trade in my denim skirt for this blush colored version. I paired it with a white boho top, tucked it in to give things a little more shape and added neutral accessories.  I could always use an easy, breezy look (or three!) like this in my rotation. Couldn't you?

TALK TO ME

The graphic tee. It's the shirt trend that's having a major moment right now. And while these witty, phrase-lined tops are nothing new, I will say it's easily one of the most versatile pieces in my current closet. There is no right or wrong way to wear it (which is why I love it so much). From ripped skinnies and sneaks to a dressed up blazer and a skirt, these fun tees pair well with just about everything.

For today's outfit, I wore a ruffled gingham skirt with a comfy graphic tee and bow heels. It's the perfect casual-meets-dressy-ish look! I'm into that combo right now. What about you guys? With so many options to choose from, I think it's important to pick a graphic tee that has a message that actually means something to you. For me, this one feels really fitting. I have always been one to look back for a bit too long, to romanticize the past. And this year, it's been a goal of mine to be more present. It's not always easy, but the big red saying on my shirt is a fun (and fashionable) little reminder.
