I always find it hard to figure out what to wear this time of year. Ugly sweater season has passed, winter sales are at their peak so you’re tempted to stock up on “old” styles and it’s definitely not warm enough to try on any spring trends yet. It feels like a bit of a fashion limbo. And here in Los Angeles, when temps never drop below 60, it can start to be a little uninspiring. That’s why I always think it’s important to stock up on a few fail-proof pieces. A great pencil skirt, a houndstooth print, a trench coat— these things will never go out of style. COZY IN PINK

The holidays are over but we’re continuing with the food frenzy at my parent’s house, while catching up on movie watching and cuddling my new baby niece. Yup, things are pretty tough here in New Hampshire. Aside from eating, drinking and oversleeping you should know that I’ve also been living in PJs. I finally left the house (for the first time in days) last night to meet up with some friends downtown and today we are headed out to Newburyport to get some fresh ocean air. I'm wearing this pretty blush peacoat and a winter pom pom beanie. Oh and look at this new studded satchel. I got it for Christmas and I’m loving it.
